Amelia Biagioni Gálvez was born in 1916 in the province of Santa Fe teacher after graduating from Arts in Rosario, was devoted a secondary school teaching. He published his first poem in 1947, and in 1954 was born the first of his books, "Sonata of Loneliness", a circumstance that favored its establishment in Buenos Aires. From 1957 dates the second of his books, "The Key", which was followed by "Smoke" (1967), "The hunt" (1976), "Seasons of Van Gogh" (1984) and "leakage Region ( 1995). Many of his poems were published, at the time, by leading national newspapers and magazines and abroad, and were translated into French, Italian and English. In 2003, the editorial Xenos Books published "hunts" - "The hunts" - in English translation by Renata Treitel. He received numerous awards for his work and awards. He died in Buenos Aires in 2000. Melchiorre is a professor and a graduate in Arts. Has an MA in American Literature from the University of Paris 8. Currently, the university prepares for a PhD on the work of Amelia Biagioni, whose full Poesia (Buenos Aires, Adriana Hidalgo, 2009) edited and prefaced. As a poet, has participated in the Ama-Amazonia 3.0 Anthology 2008 (pájarosló ed.) And in different virtual magazines. She is the author of two books of poetry, so far unpublished.
